Light Petition supported by new LightAware Ambasador for Germany

October 8, 2018 Filed Under: News

LightAware are happy to welcome our new LightAware Ambassador for Germany, Maximilin Blaschke campaigns in Germany and across the European Union for the Freedom to Choose Healthy Light. He has founded a self-help group named “Selbsthilfegruppe LIGHTGESUNDHEIT” (light health self help group) to help light sensitive people.

Maximilian has been instrumental in LightAware’s plans to produce a German language version of our LightAware Access card which we hope will help light sensitive people in Germany and Austria gain access to services.  Maximilian also supports a petition which says:

“The EU is planning to further tighten light bulb energy efficiency requirements – making LEDs the only option available. LEDs have significant health risks and are demonstrably harmful to eyes. Children in particular are affected.

This cannot happen!

We call for EU citizens to have the choice to continue to buy healthy bulbs in the future.”

You can sign the petition here:
