MEPs further question the EU Commission on the safety of LED

On 18th February, UK and Estonion MEPs submitted a second written questions to the EU Commission on how new legislation on how to protect vulnerable groups from LED lighting and how the  health exemption to the latest lighting legislation will work:

  1. “Considering that an exemption has been accepted for those who cannot use LED lighting, what steps will the Commission take to support Member States in sourcing alternative lighting products to those with health conditions such as photosensitivity and making them available through prescription?”

The Commission has now responded.
