Fundraise

We need your support! Is there a challenge you’ve always wanted to try? Why not face it whilst raising much needed funds for a good cause such as LightAware!

Any money you raise will help enable us to fund our campaigning and support work.

LightAware’s charitable purposes are to:

• To raise awareness about the effects of artificial lighting on human health and wellbeing.
• To stimulate discussion and investigation into the effects of artificial lighting on human health and wellbeing.
• The promotion of equality and diversity through encouraging provision of access to civic life for those excluded by sensitivity to artificial lighting.

A way in which you could help to fund our services is to fundraise. There are many ways in which to do this, be it a bake sale, a sponsored walk or a more adventurous one such as climbing a mountain, running a marathon or even a skydive! There is a challenge or activity for everyone.

All you need to do is to set up a Give As You Live fundraising page and start spreading the word about your event. Tagging your family and friends on social media will help spread the word – and don’t forget to tag us so we can spread the word too!

Fundraising activities could perhaps run alongside our first LightAware Awareness Week which will happen in 2024. More details on when this will happen to come.
