Is there a challenge you’ve always wanted to try?

Why not face it and support light-sensitive people at the same time!

By raising funds for LightAware you enable us to:

• run our mutual support group providing a vital link to socially isolated and digitally excluded people.
  
  
• produce information and advice sheets providing people suffering adverse effects from artificial lighting with the information they need to improve their quality of life and empower them to make informed choices.
  
  
• campaign for equality on behalf of the light-disabled, and better lighting regulation across the board for everybody’s health and well-being.

There are many ways in which you can help, be it a cake sale, a sponsored walk or a more adventurous pursuit such as climbing a mountain, running a marathon or even a skydive! There is a challenge or activity for everyone.

If you would like to help by undertaking a sponsored challenge, all you need to do is to set up a JustGiving fundraising page here and start spreading the word about your event. Tagging your family and friends on social media will help spread the word – and don’t forget to tag us so we can spread the word too!

If you would like to take on a challenge, or take part in our campaign, during our first ever LightAware Awareness Week in 2024 there will be plenty of opportunities to choose from then. More details soon.
