LightAware welcomes new Ambassador for the East Midlands

LightAware are delighted to welcome our new East Midlands Ambassador to the team.

Jessica has Discoid and Systemic Lupus, and is photosensitive to sunlight but extremely sensitive to artificial lighting.

She says: “I have found great benefits from having a LightAware card in helping people to understand and make changes for me in order for me to take part in things that others may take for granted such as going out for meals and socialising as well as not being made unwell by attending hospital appointments.

I would be glad to offer support to others in similar situations and try to help to make positive changes for light sensitive people.”
