The UK government has opened a public consultation on lighting sources and labelling, with a view to implementing the EU’s EcoDesign regulation into UK law. It’s an important opportunity to highlight the issues of light-sensitivity.

LightAware is particularly concerned about the widespread rollout of LED street lighting, which has resulted in those unable to tolerate this form of lighting being no longer able to access the streets after dark.
