Sunday Times article condemns ‘Blinding Stupidity’ of increasingly bright LED headlights

On 12th January the Sunday Times newspaper published an article which reflected the increasing public disquiet with dazzling headlights. The article featured interviews with Tim Riley and John Lincoln of LightAware as well the RAC and College of Optometrists. It highlighted the rapid increase of the brightness of headlights and the impact they were having on drivers, who are increasingly unwilling to drive at night.
