UK Government consultation on lighting law: LightAware’s response

The UK government department responsible for light (BEIS – Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) has opened public consultation on lighting sources and labelling, with a view to implementing the Eco Design regulation into UK law.

We encourage light sensitive individuals and organisations representing people who may be light sensitive to respond. The consultation closes at 11:45pm on the 27 January 2021.

This is an important opportunity to highlight the issues of light sensitivity and to impact the implementation and possibly the wording of this regulation specifically in the UK.
